- David J. Griffin/Icon Sportswire via Sugar Bowl (January 1): No. 1 Georgia vs. No. 4 Florida State Rose Bowl (January 1): No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 3 Oregon Georgia looked like the best team in the country throughout November. The Bulldogs offense finally clicked around quarterback Carson Beck to post five consecutive 30-plus point totals. Georgia's offense will be the key to outlasting the Alabama Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship Game. The Bulldogs have given us no reasons to believe they will not win in Atlanta. Michigan conquered its biggest test of the season in its win over the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Wolverines should dominate the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten Championship Game to secure their playoff position. Florida State can complete an undefeated run through the ACC with a win over the Louisville Cardinals. The Seminoles' playoff status has been questioned after Jordan Travis' season-ending leg injury, but they should still be rewarded for an undefeated campaign. FSU's status probably will not come into question if Georgia and Michigan win. The Seminoles could be held to the No. 4 seed underneath the Pac-12 champion, no matter if it is Oregon or Washington. The Ducks put together the more complete set of performances since their regular-season meeting with the Huskies, and that should help them avenge the October loss. Oregon has the potential to jump Florida State to No. 3 because it can pick up a top-five victory on Saturday.
