COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association is hosting its Fall Parade of Homes Saturday and Sunday, allowing the community to check out new home decor and design trends.

The fall parade's lineup includes 35 homes and 26 builders. Attendees will get to learn new trends, speak with builders, and can even begin the process of designing their new home.

"We have our first home in Washington County in Chapel Hill," Rose Selman with The Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association said. "It's just super exciting. So, everything from a starter home to beautiful custom homes."

One custom home attendees can tour is located at 3036 Sandia Springs Cove in College Station . The 5,875 square foot structure was built by Tredway Custom Homes .

In addition, the home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half bathrooms, two home offices, his and hers garages, a bar, an outdoor kitchen, and a pool.

Some design trends visitors can see in the home include an open-concept floor plan and a large kitchen.

"People like to entertain, so we're seeing more double islands and walk-in pantries," explained Kosal Tredway with Tredway Custom Homes. "People are sticking to the open concept, but I'm seeing a lot of trim work. So, a lot of details on the walls. Accent walls are a really big thing, along with white oak cabinetry."

Tickets for the Fall Parade of Homes are $10, and they're valid for both days. Proceeds from the ticket sales go to Brazos Valley Builders Care , which is the community service committee of the Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association.

Those proceeds have been designated to go towards five local nonprofits including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas, B/CS Habitat for Humanity, BCS Together, Peacock Legacy of Hope, and the Different Day Foundation.
