Stan Waleski Fall Basketball Camp that is from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday has openings. The camp will be held at the St. Joseph’ Oblates gym in Laflin for boys and girls in grades 2 to 8. All players will receive a camp T-shirt and certificate. For more information, call Coach Waleski at 457-1206, email him at [email protected] or call Coach LoBrutto at 654-8030. Interested players can register by mail or walk in and register at the Oblates 30 minutes prior to camp.

Berwick Boys Youth Basketball League sign-ups will be held on Monday, Nov 5th from 5:00-6:30 pmand Thursday, Nov 8th 5:00-6:00 pm in the Varsity Gymnasium Lobby. It will be for boys3rd thru 6th grade. For more information call Coach Jason Kingery at 394-7115.

Community Winter Sunday Basketball League for school teams will begin play on Sunday, Dec 2. There are two divisions, one for 5th/6th grade boys and one for 5th/6th grade girls. Hanover Area Youth Basketball registration for boys and girls grades 3-6 who reside in Hanover will be held Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 10 at noon at Memorial Elementary. The cost is $35. Coaches and sponsors are needed. For more information, call 822-8797 or email [email protected] .

Berwick Boys Basketball Boosters will meet Nov. 5 in the lobby of the gymnasium. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. and will be about the upcoming season. For more information, call Coach Jason Kingery at 394-7115.

Crestwood Football Booster Club will meet on Thursday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Tony’s Pizza.

Meyers Quarterback Club meeting will be held today at 7 p.m. at CrisNics (formerly the Barney Inn). All parents and alumni are invited to attend.

JCC is now taking registrations for the Northampton Street Basketball League. Games will be played on Sundays starting Nov. 4. There will be two divisions for ages 8-10, and 11-13. The cost is $65 per player, with each sibling at $50. Team registrations will be $300.There will also be a skills clinic for ages 5-7. Hanover Area Boys Basketball Booster Club will hold an adult fundraiser at Screwballs in Hanover Township on Nov. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Nanticoke Area Little League will be hosting a spaghetti dinner from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd at St. Mary’s Dining Hall located on Hanover Street in Nanticoke. National Association of Letter Carriers will sponsor its Bowl-a-Thon for Muscular Dystrophy Sunday at Chacko’s Family Bowling Center from 3-5 p.m. The cost is $25 per adult and $15 for kids under 10. Teams will consist of five players and individual bowlers are welcome. Cash prizes will be given out to top-three teams and prizes for top male and female bowlers. Northwest Area’s 3rd Annual Blue White Night will be held Nov. 24 starting at 5 p.m. Any graduates interested in participating in a game should call Lisa at 256-3412.

Plains Soccer Association is sponsoring the third annual Kim Skiro Soccer Tour Saturday. All proceeds will go to scholarships for high school seniors who have previously played in the Wyoming Valley Soccer Association and are planning to attend college.
