Bulloch County sees flooding after heavy rain
STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) – The Bulloch County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to allow extra time on their commutes Thursday morning after overnight rainfall.
Dirt roads have washed out and there are multiple areas where water is flowing across the roads, the sheriff's office said .
Photos provided to WSAV show a vehicle nearly fully submerged in floodwaters on campus at Georgia Southern University Wednesday night:
There is no word on any injuries.

Bulloch County Public Safety and EMA posted a list of flooded and washed-out roads on their Facebook page . Officials advise anyone who received flooding in their home and needs shelter to call 912-489-1661.
Meanwhile, Bulloch County Schools posted online about roads their buses will be unable to access due to the rain: "Aycock, Holland, Black Creek, Jo Dan, Bee Bee, Riverview, and the portion of Reedy Branch that is on the Nevils Groveland side. Additional roads may be added as rain continues."
A flash flood warning is in place for Bulloch until 10:15 a.m.
As of 8 a.m., Statesboro reported over 8 inches of rainfall.
