The owner of Bumpy's, Derryl Gibbs, is welcoming the community to support the local store that is located on Allen Street in Springfield. Bumpy's has everything from organic and traditional vegetables, fruits, vitamins, facial and skin products, and toiletries.
They even have ice cream, smoothies, acai bowls, and their sea moss gel specialty. Gibbs told 22News that foot traffic is important when it comes to operating a business but he says it has been a challenge with major corporations in the area.
"There is so much to offer but the community itself is such a challenge with large corporations in the area so we really want to become that home location for our customers."
The store is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
