Frank La France, the upside-down phenomenon appearing at the American Legion Circus this week, will stand on his head on a pedestal on top of the News-Tribune building tomorrow. He is known to read, drink, smoke and juggle while standing on his head.

A 66-year-old Duluth man is in good condition at St. Luke's hospital after he was rescued from the freezing water of St. Louis Bay. The man said he was on his way home at 1:30 a.m. when he lost his balance and fell into the bay at First Avenue West and Commerce Street.
