S.Wright31 min ago
The Camden County Driving Range at Cooper River Park will close to the public on Oct. 27 for a $600,000 renovation project. The work includes replacing the second level concrete deck, upgrading lighting, and installing new fencing. The project is expected to be completed by March.

Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the Camden County Parks Department, said, "The Camden County Driving Range is one of the most well used and loved amenities throughout our county park system. These upgrades will ensure that this facility can continue serving our community for years to come and I look forward to seeing the finished project this spring."

The state-of-the-art golf center features a lighted, 60 station double-decker driving range with real grass tees, as well as a top-quality short game area with a putting green and sand trap. The renovations aim to "enhance the facility and extend its lifespan for the benefit of the community."
