What are you thankful for?

I am quite frankly lucky to be alive. After going through Chemotherapy and Radiation in latter part of 2023 the Lung Cancer tumor that I had been diagnosed with in one lung had gone to the Limited Stage. After surviving 2-1/2 months very ill in the Hospital in the beginning of 2024 due to Pneumonia, Septic, and RSV, and other ailments - I set out on a mission to stay healthy! I made it a point to get the recommended MRI's of brain as needed and CAT Scans to boot. Cancer did not pop up again until October, 2024 in one small section of my brain. Worried, but the medical community was on top of this immediately. Before I knew it - I went under a Cyber-knife procedure which hopefully took care of this. I just underwent a PET Scan which did come out negative but will be starting Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy soon. I am thankful to friends, my family and extended family for their love, help, dedication, and prayers in getting me to these needed appointments. I will be forever grateful to all of you - I am alive because of you!
