Car crash brings down utility pole in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A utility pole in Lansing was down Monday morning after a car crashed into it.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. in the 3200 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Police said a car hit the pole, causing it to fall over, and then a second car ran over the power pole.

Police said both cars had to be towed, but nobody was seriously hurt.

The Lansing Board of Water and Light (BWL) has not reported any outages in the area.
