Visitors to Seawall Boulevard in Galveston will notice the reappearance of a familiar island icon, the giant shrimp statue that graces the top of Nick's Kitchen and Beach Bar.
The massive fiberglass crustacean, which was damaged by the battering winds of Hurricane Beryl in July, has spent the last months being repaired at J.P. Fiberglass Repairs in La Marque and made its triumphant return to the restaurant's rooftop Friday.
