Chaves County communities hit with road-closing flood waters

(KRQE) — Authorities are, once again , warning the public about dangerous conditions following flooding in Chaves County.
On November 2, officials from Hagerman and Dexter said water is impacting multiple areas. They're warning people to stay away and not pass through moving or standing water.
Hagerman police and Dexter's fire department said these areas are impassable: Shoshoni Road, Lincoln Avenue, Cherokee, Morgan, and the Zubi Draw on Lincoln, Walnut Draw/Jackson Road, and State Road. They also reported multiple rescues.
