City of Augusta giving away tarps ahead of rain-filled week

AUGUSTA (WJBF) – The City of Augusta and Augusta Fire/EMA are giving out tarps to whomever may need one.

The giveaway is at 3117 Deans Bridge Road from 11 AM – 5:00 PM.

Officials tell residents, "Come by to collect a tarp and get the support you need for temporary repairs as we continue recovery together!"

The NewsChannel 6 weather team has forecasted rain for the entire week.

This is the first significant rainfall the CSRA has seen since Hurricane on September 27th.
