What Montgomery County transit is closed, affected on Veterans Day?

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) announced planned closures and changes for Veterans Day on Nov. 11.

Officials said that County offices and the MC311 line for nonemergency government services will be closed.

All Ride On buses will be running on their holiday schedules, which you can view online.

The TRiPS Silver Spring Commuter Store will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., but the TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store will be closed.

National Veterans Day Parade returns to the District

Parking at public garages, lots and curbside meters in Bethesda, Silver Spring and Wheaton will be free on Nov. 11.

Metro trains will be running on a Saturday Holiday schedule from 7 a.m. to midnight. Metrobus will be running on a Saturday supplemental schedule. You can view timetables online.
