Chicken truck crash closes section of I-69

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – According to Henderson Emergency Management, I-69 north and south will be detoured at the Sebree and Robards's exits until further notice due to an interstate shutdown.

Officials say this is in place so crews can clean up the highway after a semi crash hauling chicken parts. There were no injuries in the crash.

Officials expect the detour to be in place until approximately 6 p.m..

Henderson Dispatch confirms there has been a wreck involving a chicken truck on I-69.

Dispatch says one lane is open. The call came in at 2:53 p.m. Dispatch says this wreck is located a mile and a half south of Exit 140.
