Christmas in Hometown Le Mars returns for 5th year
LE MARS, Iowa ( KCAU ) — The community of Le Mars is bringing the holiday cheer to life with the 5th annual Christmas in Hometown Le Mars on November 30.
According to a release, the Ice Cream Capital of the World is inviting Siouxland to spend the Saturday after Thanksgiving, in Le Mars shopping, taking pictures with Santa, listening to live music, enjoying food, and a tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.

Anyone unable to attend can view a 30-minute abbreviated version of the event on Sunday, December 8 and 15 at 11:30 a.m. on KCAU 9.
The release states that there will be three new events for 2024 including a holiday train ride around downtown between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Grinning with the Grinch at Habitue Coffeehouse from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and a kid's dash added to Santa's Fun Run.

Eating with the Elves at KC Hall from 8 to 11 a.m.
Santa and Mrs. Claus at Habitue from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Find the Joy Scavenger Hunt through downtown Le Mars from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Live nativity with the Holy Family and animals in a manger scene from 4 to 8 p.m.
