City of Kenosha partners with CityWise to launch apartment directory
The City of Kenosha has partnered with CityWise, an online apartment directory, to help renters find local, safe and affordable housing.
The new local service has already connected more than 1,600 individuals interested in renting with local landlords.
The platform makes it easier for Kenosha residents, or those looking to move to the city, to find affordable rental properties online, city officials said.
"The launch of this directory is a huge step forward in providing our citizens with a reliable and transparent tool to find safe, affordable housing," said Mayor David Bogdala.
The directory will serve as a comprehensive resource for Kenosha residents seeking rental homes, offering features such as:
Detailed listings: Browse through available apartments, with information on price, location and amenities.
User-friendly interface: A simple and intuitive design ensures residents can quickly search for rentals that meet their needs.
Regular updates: Property information will be continuously updated to reflect the most current availability and compliance status.
"This directory will give residents access to a larger volume of rentals not commonly found on traditional listing sites, including smaller, more affordable apartments and houses that often don't appear on other platforms," said CityWise operations manager Dianna Mason. "Our goal is to bring more transparency and accountability to the housing search process, fostering a trusted resource that benefits both tenants and responsible landlords in Kenosha."
The apartment directory, free for renters, is now live and accessible on CityWise's platform. Residents can begin searching through hundreds of rentals at apartments.kenosha.org .
