Closed Springs Mexican restaurant now back on the road, transformed into a food truck

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Rey food truck, officially opened to eager customers, on Saturday, June 29th, at 11 a.m. at the Heritage Pentecostal Church in Colorado Springs. The food truck has been getting a lot of attention on social media, due to the owners, previously owning the now closed El Taco Rey restaurant located downtown.

Three years ago, El Taco Rey shut their doors for good, but now the Aguilar family is taking their menu from a building to the road, with their brand-new food truck.

The Aguilar family has served the Springs cuisine for 45 years and is excited to continue their tradition.
