Collision between motorcycle and deer leaves man dead, South Carolina Highway Patrol says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A collision Sunday morning between a motorcycle and a deer left one man dead, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

The man was driving a 2013 Honda Motorcycle, traveling east on Old Bucksville Road near Keysfield Circle, just 8 miles south of Conway when he struck a deer, according to SCHP. The motorcycle went off the right side of the road into a ditch.

The man later died at Grand Strand Hospital.

The highway patrol is investigating. Count on News13 for updates.
