Coroner releases name of 13-year-old bicyclist in crash

The Kern County coroner's office on Thursday released the name of the 13-year-old boy who died Wednesday when he was hit by a vehicle while on a bike.

Jeremiah A. Villalobos died at 4:15 p.m. at Kern Medical after the collision at the intersection of Columbus and Loyola streets.

"It's unimaginable to me that I could be deported after having given so much to have what I have now, only for it to be stripped from me and consolidated into a duffle bag if I was sent back."
