Crews respond to mountain fire in Dauphin County

(WHTM) – A fire has been reported in the area near Linglestown in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County.

The fire reportedly involved a vehicle near the Autumn Oaks community that spread into the nearby brush amid extremely dry weather in the area.

Smoke can be seen filling the sky from by the community.

According to the Department of Environmental Protection, Dauphin County is in a Drought Watch. A Red Flag Warning was also issued for Dauphin County and the surrounding area on Friday.
