Danny L. Vavra, 69 of Kearney passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Homestead Assisted Living in Kearney. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024 at O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Interment will follow at Kearney Cemetery.
Danny was born September 30, 1954 in Burwell, Neb. to Eldon and Edna (Graves) Vavra. He later attended and graduated from Kearney High School. Danny was employed at Good Samaritan in the Kitchen for 45 years.
He enjoyed his cats, his many friends, and having a good time. Danny also loved his Harley Davidson Chopper and traveling to Sturgis.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Freddy (Verla) Vavra of Kearney; and many other extended family and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
