Death of woman found in car with unhurt child was likely murder, Vancouver police say

VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) - After a woman was found dead inside a car alongside a live child last week in Vancouver, police said on Thursday that the woman's death was likely a homicide. Early in the morning of Nov. 1, police responded to the 300 block of North Blandford Drive on the report of a body inside a car. They found the woman dead and a "small child" with her inside the car who did not "appear to be physically injured," police said at the time.SEE ALSO: On Thursday, detectives with the Vancouver Police Department said they are investigating the woman's death as a murder and said the child is safe and being cared for by family members. Anyone with information is asked to call the Vancouver Police Department tip line at (360) 487-7399. No other information has been released about the case.
