Donald Jones

onald L. Jones, of Pellam Terrace, Kunkle, formerly of Kingston, died
Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.



Born in Scranton, he was a son of Evalyncq (Whitman) Jones, of
Edwardsville, and the late John B. Jones. He was a graduate of Kingston High
School and Maryland Institute of Art and was a teacher in the Baltimore Area
Schools and resident adviser at Red Rock Job Corps. He was a member of the
Kunkle United Methodist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his son, Jeffrey, Portland, Ore.;
one grandson; and brother, Dale W., Panama City, Fla.



Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Metcalfe & Shaver
Funeral Home, Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Michael Wills
officiating. Interment will be in the First Congregational Church Cemetery,
Harford. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday. In lieu
of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
