RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Calling all lovers of literature in the area, the Washoe County Public library is hosting its first ever Local Authors Fest. The event will highlight over 30 local authors reading, selling and signing their books throughout the day. There will be readings that take place every 20 minutes on three stages. Bringing together authors from all walks of life, the community is encouraged to ask questions and learn more about who they are as authors and as people. One local in attendance this weekend, Celeste Yvonne author of "It's Not About The Wine", shared how this event means so much to both the local authors and the community, "There's a connection that comes as a local author to a local community that you just can't find anywhere else. It's special and it's something that I know I love to nurture as an author and I know many others appreciate it to". Event Details:Date: Saturday, November 9th Location: Downtown Reno library 301 S. Center St. Reno, NV Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm Free event open to all ages! This special after-hours event is open to registered attendees only and will not be open for regular library service.
