Driver arrested after vehicle pursuit in Lehigh Acres

A driver was arrested after a vehicle chase with Florida Highway Patrol troopers in Lehigh Acres Saturday night.
Around 9:59 p.m., FHP troopers attempted a traffic stop on a white four-door Mercedes at state Road 82 and Blackstone Drive.
The driver, Jeffson Louis, 18, did not stop for troopers and got out of the vehicle at Blackstone Drive.
According to the FHP, troopers and Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies located Louis around 10:22 p.m.
Louis was arrested and transported to the Lee County jail.
The FHP said Louis is facing several charges, including fleeing to elude law enforcement and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license.
