Dry and quiet weather rolls on for St. Louis, Milton strengthens in the Gulf

ST. LOUIS – A cold front Sunday has opened the door to cooler air for Monday.

Highs Monday will only be around 70. Humidity will be quite low. Clear and cool again Monday night, with wake-up temperatures in the 40s on Tuesday.

The St. Louis region continues to look dry through mid-October. A warming trend kicks off Tuesday that will send high temperatures back towards the 80s by the weekend.

All eyes on Hurricane Milton as it intensifies in the SW Gulf of Mexico. This will be a major storm for the Florida Peninsula. The track of this storm is unique and will result in a head-on hit on the west coast of Florida. Landfall is expected Wednesday.
