Mayor Roger Reinert addressed the crowd of about a thousand guests including members from the Northern News Now team.

Duluth city leaders and guest speakers also highlighted the progress and growth in the city following the pandemic.

"We're seeing new businesses come into town, we're seeing developers investing in Duluth again," said Daniel Fanning, executive director of Duluth's Chamber of Commerce. "That's what we're celebrating, we want to keep fostering that, keep it growing, and keep raising that bar."

Now that the election is over, the Chamber's next focus is on the next legislative session.

They plan to advocate at the Minnesota State Capitol to pass a bonding bill that includes projects in Duluth to help bolster business growth and the local economy.
