Duluth's Best Bread Extends Hours, Adds New Menu Items
DULUTH, Minn. — Fans of Duluth's Best Bread will be excited to hear the local business is expanding its hours at its downtown Duluth and Superior locations.
Responding to years of customer requests, Duluth's Best Bread will now be open Tuesday through Sunday until 8 p.m. We caught up with owner Robert Lillegard and his family to hear about what other additions they have in store.
"French German bakery specializing in French and German foods. Treats to be exact and we have croissants, and sourdough, and big fat German pretzels and all that stuff that's traditionally baked in France and Germany," said Ruby Lillegard, co-owner's daughter. "Well, I think people know they can rely on us for those later afternoon meetings. They never have to wonder, 'oh are they open?' I think first dates, I think people doing a workout after work, I think of people just chilling having coffee or picking up pastries after work for home. Downtown can slow down a little in the evenings, but we're ready for it," said Robert Lillegard, co-owner.
Duluth's Best Bread will also be expanding their menu with some savory additions including Pizza Danishes and Top the Tater Scones.
