Election Night in Kern County

There were several watch parties held across Kern County Tuesday night to watch election night returns come in.

The night began for attendees at the Sundale Country Club around 7:30 where supporters of Kern County's GOP candidates gathered.

The guest sat on the covered patio and enjoyed savory treats until the night's end.

And over at the IBEW Local 428 Democratic Congressional candidate Rudy Salas hosted a watch party for his supporters.

Salas and other candidates thanked voters and supporters for their hard work and support throughout the campaign.

Eyewitness News also traveled north to Hanford for Republican Congressional candidate and incumbent David Valadao's party.

He was joined by local elected officials, volunteers, and supporters from across the valley.

Valadao currently represents the 22nd Congressional District which includes Kings, Tulare, and Kern Counties.
