49ers vs. Seahawks Picks, Lineup Tips for Daily Fantasy DraftKings for TNF

We often favor the home team in short-week matchups, but there's a lot to like about the 49ers in this one.

For starters, Christian McCaffrey ($8.5K) is arguably the most consistent force in fantasy. He's scored at least one touchdown in nine of his 10 appearances this season, and he has a remarkably high floor against Seattle's 19th-ranked scoring defense.

Brock Purdy, who finished Week 11 with a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating, projects as another safe play. He's thrown three touchdown passes in consecutive games and at $6,100 is priced in line with other Thursday-Friday options like Tua Tagovailoa ($7.4K) and Geno Smith ($5.8K).

While Smith is typically a fine budget option for DFS games, his triceps injury does raise some concern. Being at less than 100 percent isn't ideal against a 49ers defense that has rounded into form post-bye.

However, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll does expect Smith to play on Thursday night.

"They're taking a look at it but they pretty much know what's going on there," Carroll said on his radio show (h/t Brent Stecker of Seattle Sports). "...it's a good sign that he's functional so that's not the issue, so it's just how sore he is. He'll make it back."

Smith should be a serviceable play, but given the minor price difference, Purdy is the better one.

While Seattle's Noah Fant ($2.7K) can be viewed as a potential bargain, San Francisco's George Kittle ($5.8K) is the top tight end to roster from the Thursday-Friday slate. He's found the end zone in back-to-back games and has had no fewer than three receptions in his last four.
