(WGHP) — After a beautiful autumn day in the Triad, temperatures will fall quickly for those heading to Friday night football games.

We'll see temperatures in the 50s by 8 p.m. with many in the low 50s at the end of football games tonight. Skies will remain clear heading into the overnight hours.

We wake up Saturday morning with temperatures in the low-40s. Sunshine continues to dominate all weekend leaving us with mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures in the low-70s. It will be a very seasonable day for the Triad!

Our gorgeous stretch of weather continues into Sunday as a high-pressure system continues to remain in place over the eastern United States. Morning temperatures will be in the mid-40s with afternoon highs reaching the low 70s.

Temperatures continue to gradually warm into next week with our weather looking like what they write songs about: sunny and 75!

We'll wake up Monday in the mid-40s with afternoon highs reaching the mid-70s. It's a copy-and-paste forecast for Tuesday with mid-40s in the morning and highs in the mid-70s.

Mid-week temperatures will be in the upper 40s in the morning with highs remaining in the mid-70s and sunny skies.

A cold front arrives during the day Thursday which will limit how warm our temperatures will be able to get by the afternoon. We'll wake up in the 50s, and highs will top out in the low to mid-70s.

We'll feel the effects of the cold front on Friday with morning temperatures back in the 40s and highs in the mid-60s.
