Fast food restaurant to open new location in Livingston Parish. See where, when

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A fast food restaurant serving fried chicken, biscuits and southern sides will open a new location in Livingston Parish.

A new Bojangles located at 28509 LA Highway 43, Albany will be opening in 2025. A groundbreaking ceremony for its first location in the Baton Rouge area is scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12.

"Kwik Foods, LLC, is honored and eager to bring the Southern hospitality of Bojangles to the Baton Rouge market and surrounding areas," said Benjamin Van Cleave, president of Kwik Foods, LLC. "The Bo's Chicken Biscuit and Bo's Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders are coming home to Louisiana!"

According to the fast food restaurant, they are planning to open this location in May 2025. This will be the fifth Bojangles location in Louisiana. The other four are in Ruston, Monroe, West Monroe and Rayne.

Leaders from Livingston Parish, including Parish President Randy Delatte and Albany Mayor Eileen Bates-McCarroll, are expected to join Cleave at the groundbreaking ceremony.
