Much like their fortunes in the standings, the Washington Commanders are in a much worse injiury situation than the Dallas Cowboys entering Week 12. A day prior to their Thanksgiving faceoff which will mark the first of two battles down the stretch of the season, the teams announced game statuses for their groups.
Washington has ruled out three players while placing another two on injured reserve ahead of Thursday’s tilt. The most notable name is first-round rookie CB Emmanuel Forbes, who has spent time in and most recently out of the starting lineup. Even with his struggles, that should help QB Dak Prescott and his recent run at MVP consideration. Meanwhile the Dallas secondary is likely to be without one of their three starting safeties.
