Find your furry friend at Paws in the Park

SHREVEPORT, La. ( KTAL/KMSS ) – What's better than an event that is fun for the entire family? It is an event where you can find a furry friend to bring home!
Paws in the Park is Saturday, October 19th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverpark Church, which is located in the old Hamel's Park.
There will be vendors, raffles, food trucks, a pet costume contest, a kid zone, and, of course, tons of really cute adoptable animals.

Caddo Parish Animal Services says they will bring many available pups for adoption.
Keep in mind that when you adopt from the local animal shelter, you are saving that animal's life and also making room for more animals to be taken in and cared for.
