First Trump Presidency ‘Took Its Toll’ on Poor Ivanka
A close source added, "Ivanka is proud of her father, she loves him, but his last presidency took its toll.
"There were friends who turned their back on Ivanka and Jared because of Donald, and that was hurtful.
"Now she has a great life, her thoughts are she does not need to be working in the White House to make a difference."
To be clear, the "toll" we're talking about here wasn't on the order of, like, losing access to life-saving reproductive care . Poor Ivanka just lost some friends in Manhattan and is now forced to live on a Florida island known as " Billionaire's Bunker " with her new pals Tom Brady and Jeff Bezos . Despite these hardships, Ivanka still plans to grace us with her presence from time to time, sources told the Post:"Ivanka is not preparing to re-enter political life, but there are whispers that she could make key appearances and support the idea of the American family," added another Miami source.
"Ivanka is prepped to do all the family walks at some point ... but has no plans to enter the political fray."
And she may even advocate for certain policies the best way she knows how: pestering Daddy. A "source familiar with the Kushner family" told the paper:"She doesn't plan to be in politics. If she has something she wants to say, she will speak with her father about it directly, and privately ... If that changes and she decides she wants to advocate for various policies, she will say it publicly."
So while Ivanka's certainly been through a lot, please don't worry about her losing friends or influence in the second Trump administration. And definitely don't worry about her husband and fellow ex–White House adviser, Jared Kushner . Forbes recently reported that due to his Saudi-backed private-equity firm, Affinity Partners, he was set to become a billionaire no matter who won the election — though "a Trump victory would likely get him there sooner."
