Florence Moser Obituary
Florence L. (Schnabel) Moser, 94, of Kutztown, formerly of Lyons, died peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital In-Patient Hospice Unit, Allentown. She was the widow of Charles P. Moser, who died March, 12, 2012. Born in Egypt, Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Florence was a daughter of the late Henry M. and Beatrice M. (Cummings) Schnabel. Florence was a former member of Saint Paul's U.C.C. Church, Mertztown.
Florence was employed as an inspector at the former Saucony Shoe Company, Kutztown from 1958 to 1975. Then, she worked as an assembler for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, from 1976 until her retirement in 1992.
Florence enjoyed playing Bingo, completing word searches, playing solitaire, and camping with friends. She was a member of Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and a former member of Kutztown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was very involved with Lyons Race Fest, where her husband, Charles served as president.
Florence is survived by her daughter, Brenda L. (Moser), wife of Scott R. Kamp, Hamburg; and a granddaughter, Jessica L. (Kamp), wife of William A. Moore. Along with her husband, Charles, and parents, Florence was predeceased by her siblings: Pearl Schnabel; Dorothy W. Schnabel; Mary R. (Schnabel) Walter; Hilda M. Schnabel; Henry J. Schnabel; John T. Schnabel; and James Schnabel.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Florence's life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., in Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522, with The Reverend Arthur L. Hahn, officiating. There are no public viewing or calling hours.
