Food Network Star Shot During Robbery Attempt
Food Network chef and former NFL player Tobias Dorzon was reportedly shot on his way home from dinner on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Dorzon, who has been seen on Guy's Grocery Games and Tournament of Champions, owns the restaurant Huncho House in Hyattsville, Md. He was reportedly walking in the area with an unnamed woman around 10:15 p.m. that night when they were shot in an attempted robbery, New York Daily News reported .

Law enforcement released vague descriptions for four out of the five suspects, who drove a white SUV with an unknown plate number: each male was carrying a gun, from semi-automatic handguns to a short barrel rifle, and wearing black jackets, as reported by a local Fox affiliate from the D.C. area .
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans player now hosts Timeout with Tobias on ESPN+. His current condition is unknown, but initial reports suggested that his injuries were not life-threatening .
City Council member Wanika Fisher shared a statement with Fox 5 in the aftermath, calling Dorzon "a valued member of the District 2 community," as well as a "dear friend."
"I am disheartened and saddened by the news that Prince George's County restaurant owner Tobias Dorzon was one of two people shot during an attempted robbery Tuesday night in my district," the statement read, in part.
"Such a horrible act couldn't have happened to a better person. I am sending my deepest sympathies to him and the second victim, as well as their families and friends, and I wish them both a speedy recovery. We have no place for this kind of senseless violence in our district or our county."
Fisher concluded, "I want to see those responsible for this heinous act held accountable to the fullest extent of the law, and I look forward to seeing Chef Dorzon back in the kitchen soon."
Dorzon has not yet addressed the incident.
