Formula 1 at Circuit of the Americas is racing into town this weekend, bringing hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the globe.

It is the world's most prestigious motor racing competition, with drivers taking to the track at speeds of nearly 230 mph. This weekend will be filled with 36 hours of nonstop racing, unique culinary experiences, and musical performances by superstars Eminem and Sting.

Italian company Ferrari Trento, which specializes in the production sparkling wine, was named the official toast of F1 in 2021. Their sparkling wine will get sprayed after the final race on Sunday to celebrate the champions that made it on the podium.

"For them, it's the pinnacle of their day, of their week, of their month, of their efforts," saidSimone Masè, the general manager of Ferrari Trento. "Winning a race should be an exciting experience and memorable for your entire life."

A three liter bottle of Ferrari Trento sparkling wine will be signed by the champions and auctioned off for a good cause.

"We try to support our friends at Make-a-Wish Foundation," said Masè. "They work to raise funds for children that unfortunately have critical illness."

Circuit of the Americas opened to the public in 2012, the first year F1 came to Austin. The event brings a big economic boost to the city each time it visits.

"Folks come to Austin and they wanna experience the Austin vibe," Ken Leonard, owner and partner at the Mozart's Coffee Roasters said. "I think that's all about local businesses."

Many shops are bringing the racing experience to Austinites not attending COTA. Mozart's Coffee Rosters is hosting a tribute to F1 event, Espresso & Exotics. Thirty-five unique cars will be on display for attendees to learn about the craft of high performance cars, along with live music and exclusive merchandise.

"Brands like McLaurin and Lamborghini and Maserati," said Leonard. "There will be a few F1 vehicles, non-racing cars."

Practice and qualifying sessions take place Friday and Saturday for F1 racecar drivers.

The Grand Prix is Sunday beginning at 2 p.m.
