Fort Myers felon wanted for violating probation after assaulting woman

A Fort Myers man is wanted by police for violating probation after his history of violence towards women.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Robert Lynn has been wanted since early October after violating probation on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Lynn's most recent charge is because he attacked a woman, beating her over & over for hours.

The victim said Lynn repeatedly punched, slapped and kicked her, while holding a shard of glass to her throat.

He was held in jail for five months, followed by three years in prison.

After serving his sentence, he was placed on 36 months of probation, which he violated.

Lynn has four priors in Lee and three in Collier on charges of battery, sexual assault, kidnapping/false imprisonment and theft.

He is 5'11", 165 pounds and could be hiding out with friends or associates in the Naples area.
