Fort Myers woman with over 33 arrests wanted for skipping court on theft charges
A Fort Myers woman is wanted for failing to show up to court for charges of grand theft.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Darlene Addison, 59, has been arrested 33 times on 71 different criminal counts.
Detectives say she visited the Estero mall three times to steal hundreds of dollars worth of shoes.
Employees said Addison came into the store and put shoes under her dress before walking out.
Crime Stoppers said facial recognition was used to identify Addison.
In addition to her local arrests on charges of theft, battery, drugs, evidence tampering, fraud, obstruction, and aggravated assault, she's also been sent to prison 10 times before.
Addison is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds, and has been known to use a long list of aliases, including Darlene Gibson, Empress Jackson, Bailey Addison, and Darlene McDonald.
