Four wanted after nationwide bank account hack
(WBRE/WYOU) — Police say four people are wanted after a nationwide bank account hacking scheme in Monroe County.
According to the Pocono Township Police Department, in November 2023 officers were told of fraudulent withdrawals from a woman's bank account.
Through an investigation, police said the victim's checks and checking account information were passed on to several suspects throughout the United States to steal funds from her account.
Search for next of kin after man's death
Detectives are searching for the following suspects who they say used forged checks and the victim's account information:
Erick David Hernandez Ynfante, 20, from Providence, Rhode Island
Yordan Herrera, 42, from Hialeah, Florida
Elixander Jazciel Lugo Javier, 26, from the Dominican Republic
Jonas Gereus Samedi, 36, from Miami, Florida
Arrest warrants have been issued and police say more arrests are expected.
Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip on the Pocono Township Police website .
