Following is the Fremont Friendship Center menu and activities for Nov. 4-8.
Lunches are served at 11:30 a.m. inside the center. Seniors need to make reservations for the next day's meal by noon by calling 402-727-2815.
Monday: Oven fried chicken breast, whipped potatoes with country gravy, green beans and Italian dinner roll with margarine or roast beef and cheddar on Vienna bread with lettuce and tomato, pea salad, fudge round or diet cookies, 1% or skim milk. Chair volleyball, 9:30 a.m.; Rummikub, 9:30 a.m.; funny money card bingo, 10:15 a.m.; pitch tournament, 12:30 p.m.; pool players, 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday: Baked ham, diced sweet potatoes, honey glazed carrots and whole grain dinner roll with margarine or black and bleu salad, crackers, 100% apple juice, mandarin oranges, 1% or skim milk. Tai Chi, 9:15 a.m.; Mahjong, 9:15 a.m.; left, right, center game, 10:30 a.m.; bingo, 12:30 p.m.; cards, 1:30 p.m.; craft class, 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday: Beef taco meat, fiesta cheese sauce, pico de gallo, chuckwagon corn, sour cream and Tostitos Scoops or turkey and cheddar on Vienna bread with leaf lettuce and tomato, steakhouse potato salad, pineapple and strawberries, 1% or skim milk. Line dance lessons, 9:30 a.m.; music by The Links, 10 a.m.; birthday celebration, 11:30 a.m.; sheepshead, 12:30 p.m.; hand, knee and foot, 12:30 p.m.
Thursday: Barbecue chicken breast on whole grain hamburger bun, barbecue baked beans and winter blend vegetables or classic chef salad, 100% fruit punch, whole grain breadstick with margarine, diced peaches, 1% or skim milk. Beginner line dance lessons, 9:30 a.m.; Rummikub, 9:30 a.m.; Nye Square presentation, 10 a.m.; mystery bingo, 10:30 a.m.; pitch tournament and pool players, 12:30 p.m.
Friday: Meatloaf in tomato gravy, scalloped potatoes, Brussels sprouts and whole grain breadstick with margarine or Italian sandwich, coleslaw, peanut butter or diet cookie, 1% or skim milk. Tai Chi, 9:15 a.m.; Farkle and Rummikub, 9:30 a.m.; bingo, 10:30 a.m.; center closes, 12:30 p.m.
