Cole Sprouse 's part as Ben — Ross's son with his first wife, Carol Willick (Jane Sibbett), born at the end of season 1 — was one of the young actor's major breakout roles and the first he did without his twin brother, Dylan. In a 2019 interview with GQ, Cole, now 32 in real life, revealed that since Ben had a small role in the series, it only required one of the actors to be on set.

After Friends ended in May 2004, Cole starred alongside his brother in the Disney Channel hit series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody from 2005 to 2008 and the spin-off show The Suite Life on Deck. He then played a starring role as Jughead Jones in the CW series Riverdale in 2017 through 2023.

Cole is currently dating model Ari Fournier and continues to act.
