Fugitive in custody after standoff with police

FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) – A fugitive is in custody with Michigan State Police after a standoff in the 2700 block of Eaton Place in Flint. MSP stated they attempted to arrest the 42-year-old man. According to MSP, he came to the door with a firearm and barricaded himself inside around 4:30 p.m. MSP also stated that the MSP Emergency Support Team responded to the scene. Around 9 p.m., he was taken into custody and lodged at the Genesee County Jail. According to MSP, no injuries were reported.
