‘Full House’ star John Stamos shares rare political message ahead of Election Day

John Stamos followed the lead of countless other celebrities recently and turned to Instagram to send a strong political message to fans and followers.

Like many others, the "Full House" alum encouraged followers to vote, sharing a photo of himself wearing a blue suit.

Though he embraced the fact that he "rarely post[s] opinions on politics," he "fully acknowledge[s] that my voice holds no greater weight than any of yours."

"Each voter's opinion, especially those of my followers, is just as valid as mine," he wrote in the post . "That said, I do feel the need to share a personal reflection as we approach this pivotal election. It's clear that our country is at a crossroads, and like many of you, I hope for a future where we can find unity and common ground."

"I believe our similarities far outweigh our differences, and deep down, we all want the best for our families, our communities, and our nation. It's this belief that drives my hope for a country that embodies fairness, compassion, and progress."

"I'm not here to tell anyone how to vote," the actor went on. "This is not about dictating choices or dismissing opinions. But as we look ahead, it's no secret who I will be casting my vote for. We need a leader who prioritizes unity and strives to bridge the divides that have deepened over the past years. My hope is that this election leads to a renewed focus on bringing people together, fostering dialogue, and seeking justice and equality for all."

As the 61-year-old continued, he acknowledged that even though he could be considered "wealthy" and an "out-of-touch celebrity," he's incredibly grateful for his privilege and recognizes the "importance of giving back and working towards a society where opportunity and support aren't determined by one's socioeconomic status."

"I'm okay with paying higher taxes if it means a stronger, fairer system that lifts everyone. My cup overflows, and I believe it should help fill others' too," Stamos added.

"At the end of the day, I wish for a safe and honest election. And no matter the outcome, I will support the elected president and pray for a peaceful and honest transition."

Concluding his message with one final reminder, Stamos took the time to remind fans that "despite our differences, we share a common humanity. May this election be a step towards healing, unity, and hope."
