Giving ‘thanks’ to Donald Trump [letter]

Thank you, Donald Trump:

For being a bigot, racist and draft dodger. For Jan. 6, 2021. For a poor COVID-19 response.

For trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election. For taking away women's reproductive rights.

For worshipping dictators and autocrats. For disparaging our military veterans. For encouraging an environment that brought white supremacists to Lancaster County.

For seeming to want to allow Vladimir Putin to take over Ukraine. For associating with unhinged people such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tucker Carlson and Laura Loomer.

For attempting to ruin the city of Springfield, Ohio. For being the most prolific liar in the world.

For encouraging members of Congress, including U.S. Reps. Scott Perry and Lloyd Smucker, to object to the certification of Pennsylvania's electoral votes in the 2020 presidential election.

For losing all 62 lawsuits contesting the free and fair results of the 2020 election.

For being a convicted felon. For being a coward. For causing Americans to hate each other.

For helping James Buchanan no longer be considered the worst president in U.S. history.

I view Trumpism as an evil cult. Instead of "Make America Great Again," he is actually trying to to make America goofy, gloomy, offensive, terrible and scandalous again.
