Glensheen Mansion's holiday festivities nominated for national award

Just days after the Glensheen Mansion unveiled details for its 2024 holiday tours , it has been put forward for a national award.

As part of its 2024 10Best Readers' Choice travel awards, USA Today has nominated the historic Duluth home for its Best Holiday Historic Home Tour.

This isn't the mansion's first festive rodeo. It has been nominated previously, finishing fifth in 2023 and second in 2018.

"We are honored that Glensheen was once again nominated for this national award alongside some amazing historic homes." Glensheen Director Dustin Heckman said in a statement.

The public vote , which ends on Dec. 2, will put the Glensheen up against some tough competition like the Biltmore in Asheville, N.C.; and Elvis' Graceland in Memphis, Tenn.
