SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Before there was Television or DVDs or even the internet there was radio.

In its prime, radio was the information source where people got their news and where they were entertained.

Now, a live stage production is back to relive the glory days of the broadcast medium. It's called the 1940s radio show and you will see some familiar faces from WSAV as cast members.

It's just about that time for the holidays. Here to give us a little background about this year's 1940s holiday radio show, our Tina Tyus-Shaw welcomes the creator and director, Sebastian Verdis, and his wife Andrea Verdis, an actress in the production.

You can see the 1940's Radio Show at Tybee Post Theater. Performances are December 12-14 at 8 p.m.

The final show is Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m. Get your tickets now at wsav.com/1940sradioshow .
