Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to hold a news conference in Sarasota.

Florida Department of Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr. and Sarasota County Schools Superintendent Terry Connor will join DeSantis.

The news conference is scheduled to begin at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday at the Visual and Performing Arts Center at Booker High School.
