GWU students occupy building entrance in pro-Palestinian protest while taunted by AIM billboard
George Washington University students occupied the entrance to a university building in a protest over the Israel-Hamas war on Wednesday.
The students were seen inside and outside of the entrance of the university's Elliot School of International Affairs holding signs with messages of "End the siege in Gaza and “Divest from genocide.”

The students were also seen yelling at students drinking Starbucks. Then, Accuracy in Media's mobile trucks showed up, further angering protesters with their hard-to-miss billboards denouncing "GWU's Leading Antisemites ."
"If you're buying Starbucks, your morals clearly suck!" the group yelled at passersby holding the coffee drink.

In October, Starbucks and the union representing nearly 9,000 of its baristas filed lawsuits against each other over the union’s “Solidarity with Palestine!” tweet, which has been triggering calls for a boycott against the popular coffeehouse chain.
Starbucks claimed the union's stance on the Israel-Hamas war was resulting in “damage [to] Starbucks’ reputation and business.”
“Starbucks unequivocally condemns acts of terrorism, hate and violence, and we strongly disagree with the views expressed by Workers United, including its local affiliates, union organizers and those who identify as members of 'Starbucks Workers United' – none of these groups speak for Starbucks Coffee Company and do not represent our company’s views, positions, or beliefs,” Starbucks Executive Vice President Sara Kelly said in October.
To add to tensions on the Washington, D.C., campus, AIM's infamous mobile billboard truck parked outside to greet protesters.
AIM flashed photos and names of GWU students on their "GWU's Leading Antisemites" list on the mobile billboard truck parked at the campus.

"I think it's incredibly important for people to know who the antisemites are on their campus and in their community. Radical, hateful college students have been coddled for far too long, and open displays of racism are the end result. The billboards also directed readers to a website titled "GWU Hates Jews."
Some social media users mocked the GWU protest.
"Jihadi cosplayers," one social media user responded .
"If you have to hide your face, you're one of the bad guys," another social media user said .
GWU suspended the Students for Justice in Palestine group earlier this month when the student organization made global headlines by projecting super-sized antisemitic messages of “Glory To Our Martyrs,” “Divestment From Zionist Genocide Now” and “Free Palestine From The River To The Sea” on the outer wall of the university's Gelman Library.
The GWU protest comes on the same day as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's class at Columbia University was disrupted again with protests.
